Welcome

Thank you for visiting Pleasant Ridge Outdoors. Please check out the About Us page to learn more about why we started the company and our vision of where we want to go.

We just wrapped up another fantastic year. There are now hundreds of WMDs scattered throughout some very diverse whitetail country. Hunters from Canada to the deep South reported great results. Thank you all for your business and encouragement. We even tried out the WMD on a spectacular elk hunt in Colorado. If I had only had a bull tag instead of just a cow....

We just took the WMD international. Here are a couple of photos from our amazing New Zealand red stag hunt. We'd like to thank Fraser Safaris New Zealand and especially our guides Sam and Henry for giving us a hunt we'll remember for a lifetime. Challenging terrain and conditions made the hunt even more memorable. Alena's scored 337 and mine was 320. We can't wait to go back...even though we were awakened by a small earthquake the night we stayed in Christchurch:)

Speaking of going international, the Heat Locker is really picking up steam. Canada especially is really getting some good buzz. We didn't think of this but evidently the Heat Locker is great for drying out hockey equipment. It's big enough for all the clothing and gear.

Gearing up for turkey season around here. Not sure if we can top Alena's hunt from last year though. Check out the video here. After she dropped the big Tom, two other huge birds came over and completely worked over the corpse. Talk about some angry birds!  We were also fortunate enough to have some special guests come up to the farm from Arkansas and have a spectacular hunt. Here's a photo taken right after her hunt. See if you can pick out my four favorite things in life. The weather has been so nice here in Kansas this winter and it's really making all of us anxious to hear some gobbling. alena turkey and flag

PRO had a very busy show season. We'd just like to thank the ten thousand or so people who stopped by our booths in Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin and Kansas. PRO products will be hunting and working in dozens of states (and Canada) by the end of this year. Please keep in touch and let us know how we can continue to improve. Send pictures!

The evidence is pretty clear. Please check out the Products pages to learn more about our exciting new inventions.

Our first product will help enable you to bring your prey in closer to your stand than ever before. Oh, and by the way, you can also use it indoors, on the patio, in the garden, or to train your dogs! It's called the WMD- Weapon of Mass Dispersion. It truly is a weapon you need in your arsenal. Check out this short YouTube video of the WMD in action- WMD and 10pt buck. That was my buck and now here's Alena's nine point she just harvested with help from the WMD.

Here's another video showing the versatility of the WMD. You've got to check out our hunt from 2 Nov- Buckapalooza Part 1 and Buckapalooza Part 2.  Part 2 shows what happens when an 8-point gets a little too close and gets sprayed right in the eyes. Needless to say he was a little confused. We had eight bucks, three doe, and one of the meanest skunks I've ever seen in the field that afternoon. Here's a video from 30 Oct showing a couple of bucks and the WMD decoy. This is a video of the original prototype stopping a young five point in his tracks.

Our second product has absolutely nothing like it on the market. Frankly, I just got tired of hunting and working in cold, wet clothes that were piled up in a heap in the garage. We're about to revolutionize the way you organize, store, protect and dry your outdoor clothing. It's called the Heat Locker and spending time outdoors in inclimate weather is about to get a lot more enjoyable. Click here to go directly to the Heat Locker page to learn more and see images of the product.

Please spend some time checking out the site. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas for products you'd like to discuss, please don't hesitate to Contact Us.

THANKS,

RICK
